Engenoi is a storyteller and activist, a wife and mother. Influenced by her Maasai heritage, her work is centred on resistance, identity and wellbeing. She is passionate about elevating the voices of indigenous and marginalised communities. As a CMA registered holistic practitioner, she is consciously reframing what mental health means for indigenous peoples through her podcast Healing in Harmony. She hopes to inspire others to live more consciously and give them skills to overcome and heal their trauma, to become the most authentic versions of themselves.
Engenoi’s most recent project was as a course convenor for the School of Pan African Thought, London where she designed the Anthropology and Sociology of Africa courses. She works remotely from Diani, Kenya, South Africa running her holistic practice and is available for online consultations and in person meetings on request. Engenoi is also a spoken word performing artist and is available for live performances.
